Garage Cleanouts in Stone Mountain

If you can't park in your garage anymore, we can clear it. We sort with you, haul out what you don't want, keep what you do in one spot, and sweep the floor before we leave. You get your space back without a weekend of lifting.

What a Garage Cleanout Covers

A garage cleanout is more than loading a truck. Garages hold a mix of things: old furniture, boxes from the last move, broken tools, bikes, lumber scraps, yard gear. Some of it you want. Most of it you don't. We work through it with you and take away the rest.

How we do the small stuff decides how the job turns out. We pad door frames before big pieces come out. We don't drag metal shelving across the slab. We check boxes before they go on the truck so a box of photos doesn't leave with the old paint trays. Then we sweep, so the floor is clean when you pull the car in.

It makes sense when years of stuff have piled up, when the house is going on the market, or when a grown kid moved out and left a load behind. For a single fridge or sofa, our appliance removal or furniture removal service is a better match.

What's Included in the Job

  1. 01

    Sorting with you

We ask what stays before we start. Keep items get set in one corner or along one wall, not scattered around the driveway.

  2. 02

    Careful carry-out

We use blankets on door frames and pick up heavy pieces instead of sliding them. Your garage door track, trim and drywall stay the way we found them.

  3. 03

    Shelving and racks

Old metal shelving, wood workbenches and wall racks can come down and go out with the rest. We take them apart so they don't gouge the walls on the way out.

  4. 04

    Donation and recycling

Usable furniture, tools and bikes get set aside for donation when they're in decent shape. Scrap metal goes to recycling instead of the landfill.

  5. 05

    Sweep-up at the end

Once the last load is on the truck, we sweep the slab and the driveway. You see bare concrete, not a ring of dust and screws where the boxes sat.

Signs It's Time to Clear the Garage

  • Your car sits outside

A two-car garage that holds no cars is the plainest sign there is. Clearing it gets the car out of the sun and pollen and gives you back space you already paid for.

  • Boxes are soft or musty

Georgia humidity gets into cardboard stored on a bare slab. Once boxes go soft, mildew and bugs follow, and what's inside starts to spoil.

  • You can't reach the back wall

When you need a ladder or a tool and can't get to it, the clutter is costing you time every week.

  • You're selling or moving

Buyers look in the garage. An empty, swept garage shows better and makes the move lighter.

  • Pests have moved in

Mouse droppings, nests and spider webs in old piles mean things have sat too long. Clearing it out removes the hiding spots.

How the Day Goes

  1. 1

    Free on-site estimate

Call us, and we come out to see the garage in person. You get a firm price up front, before anyone lifts a box. There are no hidden fees added later.

  2. 2

    Walk-through and setup

On the day, we walk the space with you and mark what stays. We pad door frames and clear a path to the truck.

  3. 3

    Sort and load

We pull items out in sections, check boxes as we go, and load the truck. Donations and recycling are kept separate from trash.

  4. 4

    Sweep and final look

We sweep the slab and driveway, then walk it with you one more time. If something got missed, we deal with it before we leave.

What Moves the Price

Your price is based on what we see at the estimate, and you get it upfront before we start. Most of the cost comes from how much goes on the truck and how long it takes to sort. Here's what makes it go up or down.

Volume
The main thing we price on is how much room your stuff takes up in the truck. A one-car garage with a few piles costs less than a two-car garage stacked to the ceiling.
Heavy or bulky items
Old freezers, workbenches, gun safes and pianos take more people and more care. We'll point these out at the estimate.
Sorting time
If boxes need to be opened and checked, that takes time. A garage where you've already marked what stays moves faster.
Item type and disposal
Some items cost more to dispose of properly, like tires, mattresses or appliances with refrigerant. We'll tell you which ones before we load them.

Garage Cleanout Questions

Should I stay home during the cleanout?

Plan to be there for the first few minutes so we can walk the space and agree on what stays. Once that's settled, plenty of people head out and come back to a swept floor. If we find something you might want, we call you before it goes on the truck.

Will you take old paint, gas cans and chemicals?

Those have special disposal rules, so not all of it can go on the truck. Tell us what you have when you call. We'll let you know what we can take and how to handle the rest.

How soon can you come out?

We have same-day and next-day service available, depending on the schedule. Call and we'll give you the first opening that works for you.

What happens to the stuff you haul away?

Usable items get set aside for donation. Metal and other recyclables go to recycling. What's left goes to the proper disposal site.

Who's doing the work in my garage?

Our own crew does the lifting and hauling. We're licensed and insured, and we've been in business since 2021. Over 1,200 Google reviews come from people around Stone Mountain and nearby towns like Tucker and Decatur.
